CRFF Roundtable: 'Crootin, Expansion and Baseball

1) Your thoughts on OSU's newest running back commits https://www.ukfootballprostore.com/Corey_Thornton_Jersey-78. RobertI wonder who they will actually end up playing for.CadeTo echo Robert, I'm cautiously optimistic that Hubbard will stick around. I think Hubbard will be a star, but I'm not sure if it will be for the Cowboys. He and King would be an excellent 1-2 punch. GallagherAsk me what I think about them in 2-3 years.JoshI think both kids can be superstars but only one can be. One will transfer and one will run for 1,000 yards in a few years. I have no idea which one.PhillipI like that OSU is getting creative and aggressive in trying to fix the run game Otis Anderson Jersey. OSU needs that part of the team to improve if it has serious expectations of competing for titles.Kyle(I'm basing this on the assumption that they both stick with the Cowboys.)We know Hubbard has world-class speed. So, of course, he's exciting. But I think King has the physical maturity and more importantly the tough running skills to be productive early.2) Your vote on Big 12 expansion.RobertNo single non-conference team has had more success in the recent past against the bottom half of the league than North Dakota State. We already have wrestling. Besides, don't underestimate that North Dakota TV market. If Boren can't add them for football, blow the league up. We can create a new league with Houston, Memphis, Cincinnati, UConn, UCF, USF, Kansas, Iowa State, Kansas State, Colorado State, OU, and us. Make sure we are in the opposite division from OU.CadeAre we still talking about expansion? This feels like the satellite camp nonsense. I'm not sure that it will happen. There's not one candidate that intrigues me.Now that I'm done with my tangent, I think that expansion must take place for the Big 12 to survive. My final vote is for Oklahoma State to bolt before the entire ship sinks. And I wouldn't be upset to see OU go to the SEC and OSU go to the Pac-12. I'm getting tired of losing to them.GallagherFor it, mostly because I want to be the Big 12 again. I want UCONN and BYU or Cinci. I only want UCONN if we get them in basketball too. That would make Big 12 basketball even more epic. JoshFor it and go to 14 teams. Add BYU, Memphis, Cincy and Houston. Add depth in football, basketball and other sports. You also add four new markets and can take over every time zone on Saturdays.PhillipI am for expansion, though the more and more I really dig into the favorite teams the more concerned I am.KyleIf the league can add quality teams, I'm for it. I don't agree with expansion for its own sake. It all seems like a bit of knee jerk reaction to me.If Baylor doesn't pull off that comeback two years ago, TCU gets in and with a Big 12 team included in the first two Playoffs, is this even brought up? Regardless of David Boren's opinion, adding Cincinnati and Houston or Central Florida will only water down the league and result in a full step backwards in my opinion. The Cowboys lost Bedlam over the weekend.Cody Thomas doing good in a game. I guess there's a first time for everything Josh Elias Is this the year Holiday gets this team over the hump and makes it to Omaha?RobertIf all he has to do is get them over a "hump," then yeah. Maybe. But I thought consistently scoring runs was the main obstacle Malachi Lawrence Jersey. CadeThey are most certainly capable of making a run towards Omaha. They caught a hot streak recently, but need to sustain that. I just hope they haven't peaked too early.GallagherThere's no doubt they have the talent to make a run to Omaha, but losing 3 out of 4 to OU really pisses me off.JoshThey've played really well the past month. College baseball is all about pitching and we have some of the best in the country. This team has a real shot at Omaha.PhillipIt's going to be hard. OSU isn't likely to host a regional this year, unless they get a super regional, and that would require some upsets. Not that they can't do it, but the team has seemed rather hot and cold. If they get hot at the right, time they could make a serious run.KyleIf the Pokes can keep getting production from their bats, I think this could be the bullpen that gets him there. Rob Walton has a deep staff and that will always gives you a chance.
