Southern Ural State Medical University (Chelyabinsk State Medical Academy) is a federally regulated higher education institution that implements a multi-level system of continuous training for specialists from high schools to doctoral studies with higher medicine, medicine and humanities education. Southern Ural State Medical University was established in 1944 as the Chelyabinsk State Medical Institute when the Kiev Medical Institute was moved to the city of Chelyabinsk.
