The couple planned their wedding eight months following their beach engagement.

"Andy started employed in my friends bike shop opposite the house. I would pop over most days for any coffee, much more when Andy started working there. We quickly became inseparable and incredibly quickly became a product. Fast forward a year along with a half to some beautiful sunny days in February. After using a breakfast BBQ on Yellowcraigs beach I was walking across the coast and Andy stopped and, I thought, had dropped something and visited pick it up."

"It would be a complete surprise. Poor Andy was recorded on one knee on soggy wet sand for any while as I shouted 'Really?' repeatedly before quickly saying yes and crying a great deal. We spent a special afternoon visiting my loved ones to let all of them know after which went out for lunch at our favorite local restaurant, Good Brothers in Stockbridge. We were engaged for 8 months, therefore it was a pretty quick turnaround but completely manageable."

"I knew that I never was going to put on a white dress. During the eight-month planning process, I never tried on a marriage dress. I am only decisive and knew precisely what I desired to wear. It was always more likely to be sequins than one that could be worn again. I had drawn multiple sketches making a mood board of shapes, colors, and textures."Here

The flower girls woreivory flower girl dresses, embellished through the bride with sequins obtained from her dress.

Julie asked her father just to walk down together with her, as Baby I Love You' by The Ronettes played. The ceremony was led by a humanist celebrant and included an Irish Blessing along with a reading from Camera Obscura's 'I Love How You Love Me.

"We wanted the ceremony to become short and sweet. We desired to party! Sheila would be a breeze to utilize because she understood precisely what we wanted and just how we wanted it done. The ceremony was about us, the way we met and our life together. Our vows even included promising to create each other glasses of tea. It was perfect."

The guests were treated to some bespoke gin as a marriage favor with a great deal of local flavor.

"As Andy is a distiller we designed a bespoke gin which included sea buckthorn in the beach where we've got engaged, seaweed from Larne where Andy comes from, and Scottish raspberries."

The couple's song, 'At Last' by Etta James, was their romantic first dance before a dynamic ceilidh to music.

"A two-piece ceilidh band who were a complete BARGAIN. I can't recommend them enough."
