An Intimate + Rural Cornwall Wedding

If this wedding doesn't perhaps you have contemplated a rustic yet styled wedding in Cornwall, then I don't understand what will.

This is the marriage of a fashion buyer Robyn and Alistair, a director of the wealth management business, who wed on 18 August at the most charming and quaint Cornish venues near Truro.

Their intimate, morning civil ceremony was attended by their closest friends and family before the party grew for that afternoon humanist ceremony. Joyful and lively, it set the scene for that relaxed outdoor party that extended long into the summer night.

"We both wanted a countryside wedding having both were built with a rural upbringing. So many barn weddings feel sterile and purpose-built but this had total charm and charisma. We also loved the main focus on food and also the outdoor kitchen, once we both love food and knew this is a big part of our day!"

"I wanted something which felt quite modern so fell in love using the skirt and top combination. I also loved the intricate floral lace which worked perfectly from the rural setting."

Robyn and Alistair met through mutual friends, and also got together a few years later.

"Alistair proposed on my small birthday about 1.5 years before our wedding. He originally constructed that he hadn't given my birthday much thought, which offended me, however, claimed to possess booked dinner in a local restaurant. We organized to satisfy ourselves in the pub beforehand where he surprised me, firstly having a group of our close friends arriving after which with tickets to some gig nearby for my favorite band, The Pixies. It was in the center of the gig he proposed encompassed by some of our closest friends."Here

The entire day was caught on camera, whose reportage style and natural approach offer us this kind of intimate and romantic insight into the day.

"Ross Talling was AMAZING. He made us feel completely comfortable and comfortable while watching the camera. He perfectly captured everything about your day a dark tone and everyone's bonds and relationships. I especially love the photos he took of my father and me."

The bridesmaids wore maid of honor dresses with open backs and soft, fluttering sleeves.

The bride added the sheerest of veils, which she swapped later on to have an elegant headpiece.

The guests sat right down at long trestle tables, decorated with yet more full-blown flowers, for that wedding breakfast from chef Darren Broom and the team.

"As neither people have much of a sweet tooth we opted for any tiered pork pie cake, that was made by chef Callum. This was undoubtedly the biggest spectacle from the wedding and we still have everyone telling us just how much they loved it!"

Having their friends and families surrounding them on this type of special day is important to Robyn and Alistair, and was their favorite element of your day.

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Please try to relax and revel in the development! I found wedding ceremony planning pretty stressful and overwhelming. I'm not much of a party planner and am a lot more comfortable like a guest than the usual host. I am worried that individuals wouldn't have some fun or something would fail but I really shouldn't have worried."
