A 1970s Disco Winter Wedding at London Docklands

For this celebration, our couple takes inspiration using their love of music (especially disco) and from cool New York City loft parties.

This is the marriage of Mr and, who operate in music distribution and documentary production respectively. They were married on 16 December 2018, which is the site of Londons only lighthouse, and today home to artist studios, smaller businesses, and charities, in addition to being a vibrant event space.

"My style nods for the 70s. I love flowing, vintagelace wedding dresses, and I wanted my dress to seem like me. My cousin Sarah and right-hand woman accompanied me on my small dress mission; she expertly find the shops and left the very best until last. When I tried the sample of the dress on, I knew immediately it was the main one."

White block heels came thanks, and Mrs. Archer-Lee added an attractive assortment of jewelry pieces to accomplish her look. As pearls are her birthstone, she wore a gold and pearl nose stud, in addition to a silver and blue bracelet gifted to her by her bridesmaids, along with a delicate gold bracelet, which she also bought from her bridesmaids.

I love the various bridesmaid dresseschosen through the bridesmaids, in various greys, from silver to slate and pewter; some with lace, some with silk, chiffon, and stripes all of them looked brilliant together, plus they wore all of them with gold plated eternity circle bracelets, provided to them through the bride to complement her own.

The bouquets the bridesmaids carried complemented their outfits beautifully, full of silvery eucalyptus along with other seasonal greenery, in addition to roses, lisianthus, and striking sea holly. These, in addition to Mrs. Archer-Lee's bouquet, and every one of the other incredible floral arrangements was by Catherine of.

"My cousin bought me the astonishing book by Molly Rosen Guy Stone Fox Bride: Love, Lust, and Wedding Planning for that Wild at Heart, and I didn't know much about flowers, however, the chapter on flowers in Molly's book solved the problem massively, I loved the look of the bouquet inside it, and showed it to Catherine, who said hello would be perfect for that time of the year for our wedding."

The wedding ceremony was driven to Trinity Buoy Wharf, and also the trio of lovely flower girls made their way on the aisle first, wearing festively sparkly outfits from To the song, My Love For You, by ESG, the bride be was accompanied on the aisle by her dad.

"We first met underneath the disco ball at Phonox, a great nightclub in south London, and also the rest, as the saying goes, is history."

Mr. Archer-Lee wore a good, light blue suit having a white shirt and pale pink tie by, that they wore had a wonderful vintage tie bar by, and shoes from. The couple also gifted the groomsmen their very own vintage tie bar each, that they had been collecting in their year of wedding ceremony planning.

We have photographers to thank with this collection of joyful, sharp, and vibrant images, whose work weve featured.

"Kitty was incredible. For two individuals who find finding themselves in front of the camera quite awkward sometimes, she made us feel super comfortable the first time we met, look wonderful, and extremely captured the essence during the day."

"It's also worth mentioning that to pay for the size of the area was a mammoth job for one photographer, as well as for Kitty to possess captured every moment whilst feeling greatly part of our day, was truly amazing."

The groom's talented mum Gill made the spectacular wedding cake, and I adore the abstract paint and gold leaf decoration!

"Gill was amazing at helping us look for a style we liked, which would tie in using the rest during the day. It looked so beautiful in the area surrounded by plenty of wintergreen foliage, we can't thank her enough."

In time for any night of dancing, Mrs. Archer-Lee changed right into a gorgeously draped dress, and excellent rhinestone disco platforms.

"Seeing all of our friends and family of all ages within the same place, dancing and achieving such a good time around was our favorite aspect during the day. It meant all of the hard work and focus on detail had repaid. It would be a lot of work doing all of the planning ourselves, but we wouldn't have changed this it meant it felt like our day."
