BRUFEN 600MG TABLET increases the chances of stomach ulcers and bleeding. BRUFEN 600MG TABLET can increase your risk of fatal heart attack or stroke. So, if you have had any recent heart bypass surgery, do not use BRUFEN 600MG TABLET.
Avoid or limit the intake of alcohol while taking BRUFEN 600MG TABLET. To treat your condition effectually, continue taking BRUFEN 600MG TABLET for as long as your doctor has prescribed. Consult your doctor before taking if you are pregnant or breast-feeding; your doctor will prescribe you only if the benefits outweigh the risks. BRUFEN 600MG TABLET causes drowsiness, so drive with caution. BRUFEN 600MG TABLET should not be given to children as safety and efficacy have not been established.

BRUFEN 600MG TABLET belongs to the group of NSAIDs used to relieve pain and inflammation. BRUFEN 600MG TABLET relieve period pain, headache, neuralgia (nerve-related pain), migraine, back pain, dental pain, swelling and stiffness in joints and muscles, cold, flu, and fever symptoms. BRUFEN 600MG TABLET works by blocking the effect of a chemical messenger in your body, known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes that make another chemical 'prostaglandins' (PG). These prostaglandins are produced at injury sites and cause pain and swelling. By blocking COX enzymes' effect, lesser PGs are produced, which reduces mild to moderate pain and inflammation at the injured or damaged site. Besides this, it also minimizes fever due to pain and inflammatory conditions.
Directions for Use
Take BRUFEN 600MG TABLET before half an hour meal/snack for better results. Tablet: Do not chew, break, or crush the tablet; swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Take BRUFEN 600MG TABLET at the same time every day. Liquid: Shake the bottle well and take the prescribed dose/quantity by mouth using the measuring cup provided by the pack. Topical: Take a pea-sized amount onto your finger and apply it directly onto the affected area and gently massage it in. Drug Interactions
DRUG-DRUG INTERACTIONS: BRUFEN 600MG TABLET may have interaction with naproxen, aspirin (used to relieve pain), duloxetine, sertraline and escitalopram (used to treat depression), prednisone and meloxicam (used to treat arthritis), and fluoxetine (used to treat high blood pressure and fluid retention).
DRUG-FOOD INTERACTIONS: Avoid consuming alcohol along with BRUFEN 600MG TABLET as it could lead to increased drowsiness and dizziness. It could also increase the risk of stomach bleeding.
DRUG-DISEASE INTERACTION: BRUFEN 600MG TABLET should not be given in patients with stomach/intestine ulcer or bleeding, heart failure, fluid retention (oedema), asthma, high blood pressure, hyperkalemia (high levels of potassium), thrombosis (formation of clots), anaemia (low red blood cells), rash, platelet aggregation inhibition, kidney and liver problems.
