FeelTimes Ethical Gown & Blowsy Peonies

It thrills us to determine so many more brides choosing ethical and sustainable wedding gowns.

Sophie and Olly wed on 25 June 2021 in Sutton Courtenay, Oxfordshire then a garden celebration in the bride's home. Inspired by the beautiful, English country garden setting, the marquee and also the lawn outside was styled with a lot of fresh, colorful flowers plus some personal touches for any relaxed, laid-back feel.

"We find the family garden because you will find there are a lot of special memories there as well as because my sister had her wedding there a few years before us. It is beautiful and provided us with an excellent blueprint. We also knew that doing the work at home means we could then add personal touches towards the great day."

"We desired to keep it quite relaxed and private so several of the details were inspired by our interests and trips we'd been on together or little nods to family jokes or stories. We knew we wanted it to feel colorful and blend in with my mum's lovely flowers around the garden, to ensure that led the floral aspect."

Sophie visited the website feeltimes.co.uk to pick up her divine gown. I love the pleated V-front bodice, the intricate open back, and also the delicate lace cap sleeves.

"I loved the design was built with a slight art deco feel which matched the design and style of my diamond engagement ring too. I asked Heather to then add the same real flowers to hairpins for my bridesmaids and me."Click

Olly wore a morning suit, a waistcoat, a tie, and shoes.

"I was built with a set of plain gold cufflinks which originally belonged to my father, engraved with this wedding date, which Olly wore at the time. The cufflinks had all of the scratches and scrapes of the well-worn and well-loved item which made them feel much more special."

Sophie and Olly met in school and were friends for a long time before their friendship developed.

"Somewhere on the way we became a lot more than friends and I guess the remainder is history. Olly proposed within our flat in London. We were only said to be engaged for any year but because of Covid we'd to move things, so ultimately we were engaged for 2 years."

The bride and bridesmaids carried a wild and colorful bouquet of seasonal flowers. The bridesmaids wore severalroyal blue bridesmaid dresses.

"I wanted these phones to choose their very own dresses so that they wore a mixture of different styles and brands. My sisters were from and also the others were mostly from ."

The evening party had live music from the band.

"Our guests continue to be talking about how great these were! Our first dance ended up being to 'Volare' through the Gypsy Kings. We have experienced them live and try to love their music. It's an excellent song to bop to and comes with a large number of fun memories for all of us."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"The day will fly by so do not cram a lot of different things in. Some things will in the end not go to plan however the likelihood of people noticing is extremely small."
