The tech titan, Apple, has announced that NFT sales will now be allowed on the App Store. However, there are catches that not everybody is happy about. For one thing, Apple has mandated a 30% commission on NFTs that are sold through applications listed on the App Store. NFT games on mobiles have been becoming increasingly popular and this move could certainly prove detrimental for them as it would mean less revenue. The issue persists even after Apple reduced the commission to 15% for companies that make less than $1 million annually. Disallowing crypto and having all transactions be in USD has also made NFT game developers of the App Store.
