We'll deliver to players in Madden NFL 22

While rumors of this were floating around the internet in the last week, EA will continue to release two more updates to Madden 22's franchise game mode. The company reiterates what it says is its support for Mut 22 coins as a live service game.

In a new statement, EA Sports told IGN:

We are not averse to speak about rumors or speculation, but we're committed to improve Franchise as a part of our ongoing Madden NFL 22 live service and beyond. This includes two coming Franchise updates that we'll deliver to players in Madden NFL 22. We will have more details on the updates in the new year.

The statement follows a report by Sports Gamers Online that EA has decided to stop any further games with franchise-based modes in Madden 22. It partly cited IGN's own conversation with Madden 22 Executive Producer Seann Graddy. Graddy admitted that this year's roadmap is "slightly less ambitious than those of the of the past" because the team is focused on a few key areas rather than attempting to introduce items on the size of Superstar KO, a well-received arcade mode that was introduced in Madden 20.

"I believe that the roadmap is] perhaps a little morebuy Madden 22 coins modest than in the past since we're focusing on a few key elements within Madden 22 and also getting underway on Madden 23 in a big way," Graddy said at the time. "So I'm going to stand by what we've always said the last couple of years"We're a live-streaming service and we'll continue to improve games, though we're definitely not planning to talk about a brand new mode."
