Repair Office apps on Windows 10
The recent news are full of Windows 11; however, Windows 11 has not launched for PCs yet. So we still use Windows 10. Hence you have to perform the below steps for Office apps, even from the Office 2019 pack or Microsoft 365 software pack.
- Step 1 Right-click the Start button.
- Step 2 Click on Apps and Features.
- Step 3 Choose your MS office product.
- Step 4 Click on Modify tab.
- Step 5 Select Quick Repair or Repair option.
- Step 6 Follow the remaining instructions to finish the process on Windows 10.
Repair Office apps on Windows 8 or 8.1
Users with Windows 8 or 8.1 can follow the below steps to fix their Office apps errors;
- Open Control Panel on your system.
- Under program from Category view, click on Uninstall a program.
- To select your Office app that requires repair, right-click on the app and select the Change option.
- Choose options according to your installation type
- Click-to-Run: Online repair Repair.
- MSI-based :Change your installation Repair Continue.

The Older Versions Windows 7 or Vista
Windows 7 or other versions have more chances to show errors with Office app like word, excel, etc. In this case, follow below instructions;
- Press the Start button or click the Start menu.
- Open Control Panel.
- Go to Category view and find your program under Programs.
- Click on Uninstall a program.
- Select your Office app to repair and click on Change.
- Click on Online repair and select repair. If it appears, click Continue.
- Follow remaining instructions.
