For Any Laidback + Fun Micro Wedding

Emily and Allan, both Account Managers, tied the knot between lockdowns this past year on Friday 18th September 2020.

Emily discovered her photographer, and hair accessory designer, through Love My Dress and would be a big fan of our platform and Facebook group.

"We were really lucky with this date 18th September as things had exposed enough at that time to allow us a ceremony and reception of 30 people. So we only needed to cut several guests from your original 35, plus they were all wonderful and understanding, which made the guilt slightly lessen."

"Charlie Brear was the initial place I went, plus they made me and my Mum feel so comfortable and also at home, it would be a fantastic experience. I spotted a sparkly skirt top combo almost straightaway I'm this type of magpie, everyone I know laughs at how distracted I get by anything glittery."

"Although I visited 3 other bridal showrooms within the next couple of months, I couldn't obtain the skirt and top from my mind, so I knew it had been the right option. I have been trying on quite a several different dresses and looks in the first appointment, and also the sparkly combo was the ultimate thing I tried on my mum, who usually plays her cards pretty near to her chest, said 'oh wow', as I came out from the dressing room, which helped."

The groom wore a 3-piece Scottish tweed suit.

"We met at the office 10 years ago, and also got together after 6 years. It was like things werent quite aligned for a long time, after which all of the sudden these were, and being together only agreed to be the easiest, most basic thing on the planet."

"Allan proposed after 3. five years, getting down on a single knee at the bus stop where we'd ended our first date (just around the corner from St Paul's Cathedral!). We were engaged just for over a year before we got married."Click

"We continued holiday to Devon the weekend after Allan proposed, and used all from the long car journeys to sort out what we desired to do! One of Allan's friends had said 'the best suggestion I'd give would be to spread the wedding over as numerous days as possible".

"I went for any big beautiful messy-looking bouquet with pops of bright color and plenty of trailing foliage."

"Smaller bouquets for my bridesmaids, and also the groom ushers all had thistle buttonholes. Allan and I both had roses and thistles within our bouquet/buttonhole as a nod to the English Scottish heritage. David was fantastic and understood precisely what I wanted even though I don't be aware of names associated with flowers and would be a bit useless at describing them."

"My bridesmaids all selected different dresses in varying shades of pink bridesmaid dresses/coral/orange it had been pretty tough attempting to coordinate fittings as they're spread all within the UK, one was stuck in LA, two were pregnant, AND there would be a lockdown on!""But because of excellent postage returns options, we've got there within the end. All bridesmaid's dresses were via FeelTimes, several brands. They all wore their very own shoes in a metallic color and had their very own bags. I gifted these with a floral fan produced by Victoria, an East London fan designer."

"Nothing was an excessive amount of trouble for them, and also the food was indescribably good! We also had ice-creams outside on Somerset House's courtyard to round from the afternoon, before getting taxis to Bloomsbury Lanes."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"You're marrying the love of your life, and anything else becomes unimportant! It was this type of lovely joyful day, and being in a position to make some wonderful memories during this type of difficult time was fantastic. What an attractive day! Such a wonderful celebration captured through the ever-talented, more from which team you can see."
